The Farris Wheel is nestled in the center of Tara Farms, a private ranch outside of Killeen, Texas. Established in 1972, this family-owned game ranch is home to trophy whitetail deer and record book exotics that offer the hunting trip of a lifetime.
Several years ago, the Farris Wheel began as a dream, of course. Gerald’s bucket list included building his own dance hall, like the legendary Gruene Hall. Ann’s favorite color is red and her favorite scenery is the Central Texas outdoors. After planning Lila and Ryan's wedding, the dream started to take shape. Together, these ideas and memories became the Farris Wheel, a venue for family, friends and fun.
The Farris Wheel was designed by Gerald and Ann; it was built by Larry Weiss and his right-hand partner/brother, Charles, ably assisted by our family and friends and by hordes of skilled craftsmen who have since also become friends.
